LUDO

How to Play

A little luck. A little strategy. A good time together.

Get Everyone to the Table

Create a table for two to five players free. Send the invite link to friends, or add computer players. The host starts when everyone is ready. Six to eight seats require an active Ludo Pro member at the table when billing is available.

Roll. Move. Race Home.

  1. Roll a six to bring a piece onto your starting star.
  2. Move a highlighted piece clockwise by the number you rolled.
  3. Land on an opponent to send their piece back to the starting yard. Star spaces are safe.
  4. Complete the circuit, follow your color home, and roll the exact number to finish.
  5. Bring all four pieces home first to win.

A Few House Rules

A six, a capture or a piece reaching home gives one extra roll. Three consecutive sixes forfeit the third roll. Pieces of the same color may share a space, but do not block others. Safe spaces can hold different colors.

Take a Break

Choose a computer level and let it take over your pieces. Take back control when you return. An inactive turn gets help after 30 seconds; an absent player gets computer control after 60 seconds.

Scores and Rematches

Computer-assisted games are casual. Ranked points require at least two saved human players who each made a move, with no computer help: 100 for the winner and 20 for participating players. The host opens the next lobby with Play Again; the next game only begins when the host starts it.

Joining Late

Watch a game already in progress and join the next lobby. Returning players can reclaim their own pieces. New arrivals cannot take another player’s seat.
